When a buck is with a doe in estrus it isn’t likely he will leave her side for another doe, but when he smells another rut-in buck close by, it is like us coming home smelling cologne in the house. This isn’t going to last too long!! Rut’n Buck is a good lure in the scrape. I have seen does come to a scrape and just lay down waiting for a buck to pick her up. Nothing like live bait to help attract the big boy.
